I’m Anna, founder & chef of Food with View. I love making food that celebrates the seasons – often inspired by my food memories of connection, comfort and joy!

I started cooking for a living in 2017 when I set up a pop-up called Kanassa with my sister Beth, taking our food to festivals, markets and eventually a space at Leeds Kirkgate Market. After leaving the market and finishing my ‘Sustainable Cities’ Masters, I started writing a blog called Food with View about women on the Leeds food scene.

I love connecting with food in my home city so I launched Food with View’s catering offer – with a vision to make tasty, nutritious food for my community in Leeds.

We offer catering for events and special occasions, as well as food to be enjoyed everyday… in the form of seasonal buffets, freezer meals, feasts you can heat-up at home, pop-up and more!

I choose to cook 100% vegetarian and lots of plant-based food because I believe it’s an ethical and accessible way to cook on mass, especially when combined with high-quality, less-travelled ingredients. I also love working with like-minded local producers and suppliers where possible!
